This is pretty much what I thought, but I didn't want to tell him what "My
Guesses" were.
I did tell him that not all contests were the same and that's what made them
interesting.
I also told him that "Not all things are Fair" as we see them at first glance.
What 9 month old kid REALLY enjoys having "PABULUM" for breakfast EVERY day ???
All contests are different, just work them and enjoy them !!!
My friend is learning about 6M fast. He was VERY happy even though only made 1
QSO.
He said if he only makes 2 QSO's in the next contest it will be a 100% score
increase. :-)
He is getting a 5 el. beam and I found him an old TV rotor. Big improvement
over his dipole.
I'd hate to see the 6M Sprint dropped. I think your idea of moving to December
is a good one.
The last Saturday in December would miss both holidays, more people take
vacation then and
would be available for the Sprint, and the winter E's are possible at that time.
1200Z to 1600Z would give everyone 4 hours of daylight operating time.
Just my thoughts.
