I feel that the reason that most of our Week Signals Enthusiasts are Extra
class is because the average Tech is still in the "checking it out" phase of
the hobby. They haven't been exposed to as the many facets of the hobby and
they are not willing to spend the money or time on something they know very
little about.
For those of you in the hobby for 5 or more years:
How much more likely are you to invest a sizeable amount of your money or
time into your station than during the first year you were licensed?
My 2 cents worth.....
