According to the official rules posted at http://www.arrl.org/contests/rules/2003/01vhfss.html "2. Date and Contest Period: The weekend before the NFL Super Bowl. Begins 1900 UTC Saturday, ends 0400 UTC Monday (January 18-20, 2003)." The June and September contests run from 1800GMT to 0300GMT. It appears that all three ARRL VHF contests are scheduled according to local time (2pm Saturday to 11pm Sunday in the Eastern time zone of North America), then translated into GMT and adjusted for daylight savings or standard time. |
