For many years I have used Writelog as my contesting software. The main
reason is because Writelog allows you to connect via CAT up to 4 radios at
once. This allows an effortless changing of bands on-the-fly when using
single band radios. You have the option to have 4 separate input windows
where you select the one you want to be the current active radio for
logging. Change band, just click on a different entry window. I am not
aware of any other contesting software that you can do this with. This has
worked well for me up until my recent reconfiguration of my shack. I now
would like to connect 5 radios simultaneously to the logging software, but
Writelog cannot do this. It can be done with Ham Radio Deluxe, but it's
not a contesting program and is difficult to configure using multi-band and
multiple instances of WSJT-X.

With the VHF contest only a day away I will be operating with 4 radios as I
have in the past, but would like to explore options for using 5 in the
future. Does anyone know of any contest logging software that can CAT
interface with 5 or more radios at once?

Look for me on 6m, 2m, 1.25m, 70cm & 23cm All modes, analog and digital.
EME capable on all but 6 meters.
