The Fall 6 meter Sprint was indeed interesting. At the north end, much less
participation was noted. However, a surprise opening to the south saw 7 grids
worked in EM70, EM73, EL88, EL96, EL98, EM90, EM93. Furthest east heard was
W1JJ in qso, worked was FN12 and FN13. Furthest west heard was N8UUP in qso
and worked EN91. Also got FM19, FN04, FN03, FN02 for 22 Q's in 12 grids from
FN04 and 8 Q's in 6 grids from FN03 and a friendly checkout by the police at
the end of the contest. Heard W3SO several times, weak and maybe off the back
of their beam but no contact.
Thanks to all who participated. See you next 'test.
73,
Bill
