starting from scratch and was wondering if
The tower stood next to our separte garage were it was connected at the 12
foot mark.

Howdy --

Before I get to the above questions, my first question is "What are you
doing with your homeowner's insurance company?" If you want it all replaced
by your insurance company, you need to file a claim.

This isn't a very big claim so you may want to choose not to submit a
claim. All insurance claims are put on a big national database so insurance
folks can see what claim activity you've had. "Excessive" claims will get you
dropped by your insurance company so you might want to absorb it yourself.
OTOH
a good estimate will get your deductible paid for and will cover everything
- and lots of stuff you wouldn't have considered.

Look at it like this. Your insurance expects a professional to fix your
roof if it was damaged enough to justify a claim. And they're expecting
professionals to take care of your tower damage.

I do insurance estimates for $150.00 if you're interested.

    More in Part 2.
