A further caution about stainless bolts:
Not only do you run the risk of seizing the threads of stainless steel
bolts by over-tightening, the threads of a stainless bolt are much more
easily damaged than the threads of a carbon-steel bolt! If you
inadvertently damage the threads of a stainless bolt, inevitably the nut
will sieze when it is threaded over the damaged area, and you will neither
be able to tighten or loosen the bolt!
My recommendation: use the bolts specified by the OEM.
