You can add W4ZW to the list of satisfied Cushcraft customers. I've had
quite a few of their beams and verticals and have always had good
performance, and in this day and time satisfactory service from them.
My grandfather always told me you catch more flies with honey than with
vinegar.
Having been in the wholesale/retail electronics distribution business, I can
tell you that it usually works. You have no idea of the lengths some
customers will go to screw the dealer/manufacturer. We routinely had people
buy computers and similar electronics and promptly return them as defective
only to discover that they had replaced most of the new working parts with
old defective parts. One customer even taped a PII CPU onto the PIII slot
saying he received it that way when confronted with it.
Honesty and fairness is supposed to work both ways. Unfair dealers and
customers usually don't get too far.
