Hi Dave

Utilizing the concrete base from your old crank up sounds like a GREAT idea.

You'll only need to hammer drill One hole for the pier Pin.

What you need is a BP45G base plate and a pier pin. I have used hill Radio
for Rohn products

I have no affiliation with them other then many successful transactions.

Subject: [TowerTalk] Concrete base section

I am in the planning stage for a tower using Rohn 45 sections. I want to use
the big concrete base I used for my crank up and I plan on getting the concrete
base with pier pin.

Do I need a special section of Rohn 45 to go with the concrete base?

I have always used crank ups or telephone poles so not much on Rohn or other
towers. The catalog I have is old (1982)
