Have not had this issue before with this rig or another acom 2k with the 00
year amp at this setup I had to increase the delay time menu 068 sets cw qsk
time,
time delay between when the ptt is keyed and the carrier is transmitted default
15 ms.
Yaesu 5K and no more arc fault.
Increased time to 25ms and no more issue!!
I don't understand why I had to do this as I have the same rig with this amp at
another location and I never had this issue.
Now I have a 12 year acom 2K which I'm sure has a newer T/R relay with no issue
running the same rig with 15ms.
Thank you everyone for your help. This was a very interesting issue and I hope
these findings help others.

Subject: Re: [TowerTalk] Acom Arc Fault
Not saying this is the problem with the 2000a but if Acom used the brown or
green Russian vacuum relay , I would change it to a Jennings or Kilovac . The
vacuum relay supplied buy Acom lasted less then 3 months .
Acom support was great! They had me a new Kilovac in less then a week and I was
able to install myself . I can also see where a bad coax or antenna relay could
give you a fault
