Dana:Check if rotors heading dial at controller is offset and is at the end of
rotation that could made it to stop one way.
The adding of a 500 ohm potentiometer as suggested is a good solution for
checking,on my Yaesu controller GS1000SDX,disconnect pins 1,2&3 and connect the
outside pins of the pot at 1 & 3,the center at 2 at the back of rotator,turn it
and rotor should follow! Another check is place a DC voltmeter at pin 4 & 5 and
see if you get + & - 20 volts for 450 degree rotation. Also check the
limit switches and the diodes they have across.(D20 & D21)
