Having used that controller many times at big contest stations, and having
seen a couple of them fail, I couldn't agree more. This is easily remedied
by ordering an Orion without the controller (which, thanks to M2's
enlightened attitude, you can do) and using a Green Heron controller
instead. They're a perfect match. The difference in cost is $124, less than
a pair of replacement mast clamps ;-)
