After locating where the studs are and avoiding them and any romex in the wall, 
drill your new hole and use a short 2' emt nipple with rain tight connectors to 
connect the outside box with the new inside box (maybe 12"x 12" or larger) .    
An extra nipple is not a bad idea for any power you may want to run now or 
later.  I like to use duct seal on both walls to keep weather and little 
creatures from using the hole as a highway. Since the mounting surface is 
probably not flush if it's siding, use some thick weather stripping behind the 
outside box, and then use a good clear caulk generously to the gaps caused by 
the uneven siding surfaces.  For anchoring it depends on what is underneath the 
siding, but I'd sure use more than just screws into it.  Long toggle bolts 
(1/4" or 5/16") should do it if there is plywood behind the siding.  I hope I
