RIGHT! This is one thing that separates good antenna designs from the
not so good ones. N6BT has written about this in his self-published
"Array of Light."
FWIW, I would expect the primary effect of the tower (and other
surrounding conductors) to be filling in nulls, and potentially to
affect VSWR.
