That's a good idea but I feel a bit narrow. I'd like to try some split PVC
tubbing slipped over the coax for a wider pressure area (with rounded edges).
The real problem occurs with ice loading. The weight and pressure on a
narrow SS clamp is concentrated on a small pressure zone. It's more of a
problem in a high wind and ice loading and can rip off plastic ties. k7gco
