In 2016....

I fell a 110 foot Rohn 25 with 2 TH6, and a shorty 40.

Removed one entire side of 3 guy wires.  I could not believe the 25 kept standing with all that pull of the other 2 sets of guys!

Then I cut the leg the guys that I removed were attached to. I had to cut most of the way through it.

It fell right down. Saved all but one section. A friend picked up what was left of the 2 TH6s and the old shorty 40.

Oh.... The 21 foot schedule 80 (water pipe) mast also bent right at the thrust bearing.

In a few weeks I will be taking down a 136 ft Rohn 55 tower with its base set
in concrete. I won't be taking it down section by section, but rather dropping
the whole thing.
I have some pre-conceived ides as to how to do it, but have never done it
beiore. No issues with power lines or neighbor's property...noner are an
issue. Lots of cleared space folr the tower to be dropped.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
