Fortunately my 60-year-old subdivision's covenants, which forbid any
"structures" without approval, are similarly moribund because of not
being enforced. In any case, my defense of my 5-year-old AB-577
installation, should either the home-owners association or the county
raise any question, is that it's really just a temporary antenna
support. Take that!

Words can sometimes be wonderful, particularly when the author doesn't fully

In reality, the neighborhood as long since abandoned the covenants and there's no active HOA to enforce them. My guyed EZ-WAY RBZ-75 tower has been up for 10 years and not a peep from anyone. In fact, my neighbor offered to help put it up.
