I definitely agree, it is quite a challenge to design an interlaced beam.
The elements from all of the bands have to work together in harmony.
N6BT, G0KSC, DF2BO, etc are very talented designers. I thought that the
C31XR was already an OWA but perhaps I am wrong as I have not owned many
Force12 products. I know that the C3 is an OWA design.

What I have learned in my modeling is great respect for successful
interlaced designs like the C-31XR and the JKantenna designs. It's hard to
put everything on one boom and get performance very near to that of
mono-banders.
