Too late. There their going to be bad feeling over this and it would be
foolish to ignore a lawsuit. They have open the dance so to speak. The real
issue here is someone wants to CONTROL his life and it wasn't the tower it
would other issue. I have live with the Condo Police. I now live in a nice
area in the County. No BRAIN DEAD HOA who have no more time in their lives
to interfere with mine because my mail box is the wrong color. Or the
garbage can is 3 feet to far to the right. And if you don't like my nice
pretty ROHN CELL tower who ask for your option to begin with. As I grow
older and wiser what my Father said 50 years ago is still very true today
and that is never argue with a fool as a bystander will not be able to tell
the two apart. So everyone enjoy our hobby, radios & tower and motorcycles,
and other aspect of life as we soon depart it. 73 Gene K2QWD and my soapbox.

Subject: Re: [TowerTalk] Tower lawsuit
I looked up Drax's address and checked out the property and such using
Google Maps.
Seems like there are a lot of possibilities for solving everyone's issues.
Ignore all the papers. That's just for lawyers.
The real issue is Drax wants a tower, and the neighbors don't want to look
at it.
My recommendation would be for Drax to step back and think about the total
cash that's going to be spent, and side effects in terms of neighbor
relations, on any solution.
War doesn't really get anyone's goals met.
A 60' guyed tower doesn't have much money invested so far, in the scheme of
things.
Go talk to the neighbors and find out what there concerns are. Propose
taking down the tower, cutting down some trees in the back and moving the
tower back as far as possible. You could probably get away with making it
higher then.
You might also have permit issues.
I can't see how Drax is going to "win" here, by gearing up for a fight.
Accept the losses on the tower construction to date. Talk to the neighbors,
and start over.
I'm sure if you go to them and say "Okay I'm willing to spend money to make
this right. Can you help me out and let me put up a tower somewhere on my
property?, that compromises are possible.'
