There are 2 generations of Phillystran. The first was kind of stiff and
you used the potted sockets for end terminations.
The next generation was introduced before there were Big Grips
available for them and at that time the factory said to use cable clamps. Now
they
are not allowed because of the aramid fiber cold flow problem.
Ken Knight at the factory is the guy to talk to (I think he's still
there) and he usually shows up at Dayton.
