UHHHH .. beg to differ .. using the rotator on my Pixel makes a world of
diff, especially on 160m. Signals gain considerably when the orientation is
right. I use the cheap Radio Shack, worky worky!
BTW -- antennae use ROTATORS .. a rotor is what went around and shared
your spark in your `57 Chebby...

Are you sure that you are not looking for an inexpensive rotor? :)
Does the Pro3 have a RX jack. If so you can plug the loop into it and set
the radio to use that antenna for receive. When using separate receive
antennas it is possible to overload the front end on some radios when
transmitting since they are still connected. An easy solution is to short
the RX antenna when transmitting.

The Pixel power injector has a jack that disables the
preamp on transmit. They suggest connecting it to
the key line, but I like to connect it to the same TX\
(ground on transmit) line that goes to the linear because
that takes care of both CW and phone modes and gives
the preamp relay a 10 ms headstart. This line is on
the "band data" jack on my FT-1000.
I am somewhat puzzled about using a "rotor" or even a "rotator"
on a loop. What I do is manually rotate it to null out the
dominant power line noise du jour, and I'm done. If your
QTH doesn't have such noise to null out, then it should
be mounted horizontally on a tower, in which case no rotor
or rotator is needed.
