Yes, the Rohn 25 example for 130 MPH shows ~10 sq. ft. with one set
of guys at 35 feet.

This is why I wanted to go with a guyed Rohn 25G in the first place.
Someone tried to talk me out of it since I have such a small yard.
Heck, I only want to go up 30 feet. One set of guys should do it, right?

139 mph with no guys???? No way. Rohn catalog rates 30' of R25
unguyed at 90mph 1.7 sq ft. 55g maybe a small tribander. You need a PE.

(I'm not sure if my earler message came through, not seeing it....)
I am putting together a permit application with my city which requires
certfication for 139 mph
for three second gusts as in TI-222 spec. Also steady 100 or 110 mph I think. I
will review
that.
We are making a 30 foot Rohn 25G tower according to the Rohn specification with
4 foot
cube base of concrete with no guys. I'm just qualifying the tower for the
permit.
I already have good drawings and aof course borrowed the Rohn PDF blurb that
says it is
compliant with TI-222.
Does anyone know of a set of calculations for this fairly standard tower? We
would love to
find someone who would share their calculations or point us to someone who would
do them reasonably?
I know someone mentioned some possibilities earlier, via ARRL or whatever...
Any pointers will be appreciated.
