Thanks Stan for the suggestion. Currently on two towers I have the Rohn
25 inside the 45 about 3 feet and some very good clamps. The top guy is
at this point and only about 7 feet is above this of Rohn 25. I did
this because I did not have a HAM IV rotor plate nor a top section for
Rohn 45. On the second tower which supports a WARC A3WS tribander I have
two sections of Rohn 24 bolted inside 40 feet of Rohn 45. This tower
does not have a top section but I have just acquired one that I plan to
install as soon I solve the mechanics of doing this well.

Herb,
Assuming the tower is guyed, seems to me the easiest thing to do would be to
use a short flat top section on the 45G and a flat base plate for the 25G and
just bolt them together with a few bolts.

One of my towers starts out with 40 feet of Rohn 45 and I would like to
continue with another 20 feet with Rohn 25. (I have the proper top section for
Rohn 25 and rotor plate) Currently I use large clamps on each leg with the
Rohn 25 nestled a few feet inside the Rohn 45. My question: Is there a
commercially made reduction section available anywhere that can do this? I see
one in the Rohn catalog for 55 to 45 but not 45 to 25. Please let me know if
such a device is reduction section exists.
