Yesterday I picked up a couple of toroids from two junked tv's at a local
repair shop. They are both bell shaped and are
in two pieces. The smaller of the two has a 1 3/4 in. opening on one end and 3
1/4 in. on the other end. It is about 2 in. tall.
The larger one's openings are 2 in. by 4 1/2 in. and is about 2 1/4 in. tall.
Does anyone have any idea what mix these
toroids could be? Other than using them as TVI/RFI supressors, what other ham
applications might they have?
