Guess what I have is not "pipe" but I have a 20 foot mast I have used for
about 30 years and it is definitely 2 3/8 OD and has about a 0.280 wall - It
has been a real pain because NOTHING seems to be available to fit 2 3/8. I
have modified U bolts and saddles by filing /grinding away the saddle to
fit .
I was told this was "oil field drill pipe " and Googling shows exactly that
dimension is available in several grades . Mine is seamless.
