I need to replace my old coax with new, I have looked at LMR400 but am wondering about the connectors, something about "spring fingers" bothers me. I am old school when it comes to coax and connectors, I always thought a soldered connector was best, is this still the case? I also looked at 8214 and 9913F7 Belden.
