There was a QST article a few years back that gave the matching section
details. I think it was designed for 15 meters in the write up. This antenna is
also known as two 5/8 waves in phase.
I scaled the antenna and matching system in the article to 160 meters and put
it up at about 200 feet. N3RA (WR3G at the time) and I used it in the CQ 160 CW
contest for an all around great
gain antenna that year before we put up the directional stuff the next year.
The extended Zepp worked fabulous for US and DX QSOs.
