I donot have a tower but a pipe mast guyed at the top. The guying is the 2
parts of the antenna, droopy dipole, a guy rope, and a guy rope which is
threaded through the 450ohm window line. The last guy rope could be called
a carrier or messenger line. I put a loop in the window line just under
the eves or the roof and a drip rope on the window line and guy line to
take away the water that wants to run down the whole mess. It has worked
very god for me and I plan some other changes utilizing the same idea.
