....assuming you have a flat qth terrain wise... In addition to the three guy points being the same distance out from the tower, they are also the same distance apart - i.e. the distance from guy point a to guy point b is the same as the distance from a to c... and all around... b=c etc... IF you can site the first two but have something like a shed or house in the way of the third perhaps you can use this knowledge to work backwards to find the third guy point. In the event you have a complex set of obstacles in your yard you may wish to do some scale drawings... before you throw out that Decmeber 2003 blotter page - the back side of it makes a nice large piece of paper to work on... while it will not be as exact as actually measuring point to point if done with attention to detail it will porbably work for you.
