This is factually incorrect.
Yes, the first Bush administration negotiated NAFTA but it was ratified
and approved by a DEMOCRAT congress. The Republicans didn't take over
both houses of Congress till January of 1995, one full year after NAFTA
went into effect.
The Clintonista's had two full years and both houses of congress to find
some way of killing NAFTA and didn't.
Thank you for bringing to light the facts of the matter.
btw, NPR lies. The sooner they disappear the better.
