Pete, The spool you see on the mobile vans are actually PVC tubing and the coax runs inside the PVC. It gets heavy and the 58' mast now have a basket half way up to balance the weight...the newer vans now install multiple antennas and cameras up top, so the PVC tubing has several coax cables running inside. 73s, dave wa3gin |
