Gang,
In an earlier post, I mentioned a large number of old carbon composition
resistors that I have.
Having checked over 100 old carbon resistors with my DVM, I'm sorry to
report that the old-timer whose estate I purchased didn't have ANY
low-resistance carbon resistors in the FOUR cigar boxes that I checked!
All were in the Kilo-ohm range .. but there are two more cigar boxes and
two quart jars full of resistors .. some carbon .. some wire-wound.
Will keep you all informed after I put those on the DVM.
