Hi TT'ians.
I just discovered something that probably lots of people already
know, but I didn't.
This morning I put up a delta loop antenna, apex up, and was
doing some tuning on it. I put the 1/4 transformer, etc in line
and all seemed pretty good. The SWR was about 1.5:1 which is
good enough for me. In hooking things up, I slacked the loop off
a bit and low and behold, the SWR dropped. I put a small weight
on the bottom wire and changed the shape of the loop. In playing
with it, I got the SWR down to 1.15:1. That's a lot easier than
adding/subtracting wire, etc. I like doing things the easy way!
