I assume you used a gin pole ?
For what? The only thing I use a ginpole for is stacking sections. For
90% of everything else, I use the mast as an attachment point.
One end of the comealong attaches to the choker sling on the mast and
the other end attaches to a convenient place on the tower - usually a
brace. Works every time.
