Hickok Cir. Folks,
Orange County is attempting to enact an ordinance to restrict antennas to a
height no greater than that which will not extend beyond the property lines
if the antenna falls. I have attended the planning commission meetings and
have suggested that the limitation they are attempting to enact is
excessive and does not conform to FCC 89-180 § 97.15 3e See PRB-1, 101 FCC
2d 953 (1985) for details. Does any one have any knowledge or information
of any case history relative to this issue?
I have been in contact with the ARRL and have the PRB-1 packet they pass out.
