Making SHORT BASE and TOP SECTIONS
The most cost effective way to create a short base and top
section is to simply take a regular ten foot section and cut
it into two pieces with whatever specific lengths you desire.
Put the upper portion in the ground and the lower portion
above the top set of guy wires. Rohn has a very short
section that includes a flat plate and place for a rotor,
or simply put a flat plate on top and put the rotor at the
junction with the next lower section.
