what does the new pot look like... had mine replaced once because the bushing
seized up, but the replacement was the same as the original which can be seen

the only problem with going to the magnetic pulse thing is he apparently has
had 2 different motors, one has the tail shaft, the other doesn't, and he
doesn't know which one I have.... and I never took the cover off to look before
I installed it.

I prefer pots, but the way he does them doesn't work in my icy
environment... so I found he has both and he sent me a kit to put in a
magnet/relay for pulse counting. now I just have to get up there and hope
the motor has the tail shaft to put it on.
