Yes, Carl can supply the three rods that fit in the legs of the crankup section
and attach to the TIC Ring. I have a 1022 mounted in this fashion at the top of
the 4th section of a HDX-589. While others appear to have luck with the TIC,
I'm on my second one and have never been able to get either the first or second
to operate reliably. At this point it's simply used as a side mount for a fixed
tribander.

I do not own a crank-up tower and have never done this but I am envisioning the
ring bracket clamped to three tubes that are dropped into the top of one of the
tower sections. Did you ask Carl? Perhaps he sells a crank-up mounting
adaptor.

Greetings,
I have a couple unused TIC 1022D (maybe they're 1032's Ring Rotors) that I
was thinking about using on either a HDX-555-MDPL or HDX-589-MDPL tower.
Looking at the web site these appear to be "vintage models" now. 😉
Does anyone have a picture or two of how these are mounted to the crank
ups (showing how it doesn't interfere with travel)?
If you have ring installed on one of these two towers could you share any
info on the install too?
I would appreciate learning about your experiences and results.
Thanks in advance....
