I have had a Cushcraft D3W dipole for a few years and have been quite satisfied 
with its performance generally. But wouldn't it be nice to get a little gain 
and FB ratio as a bonus. I found another one recently as was thinking of 
getting it and trying to make a 2 el beam out of them and was wondering if 
anyone else has ever tried making a 2el beam from a pair of them, whether by 
making the new element a director or reflector?
Anyone have any thoughts on this.
