It is very easy to make heavy-duty fiberglass poles. The tubing
telescopes nicely and you can either put it together as a continuous
diameter making fiberglass couplings like a boom is constructed or tapered
like a vertical. It is readily available at MaxGain Systems, DX
Engineering, etc

I need a ~25-foot telescoping fiberglass pole for a K9AY loop. A lot of
the poles advertised on the internet seem to be quite fragile,
particularly in the top section. Any recommendations for something
better?
