Actually I just had a thought. (Don't laugh).
When I was out East last month I saw an abandoned 'Railway Roundhouse' which
the local community was trying to rehabilitate as a tourist attraction.
The round track disc was about 160' in diameter with the crisscross pattern
of tracks.
If you mounted the tower in the center....would the tracks work as
radials???
you could save a lot of money on rotators this way.
"The Hubble works fine; all that stuff IS blurry!"
