> Rohn Catalog states the pushup masts are not for Amateur or CB use.

My Rohn Consumer Catalog says nothing about limited applications.
Mine has Form # 98-2854 in the lower right corner of the back cover.
Is there a newer edition with the Ham & CB prohibition? The picture
and text in my edition is in the middle of the book among the greenish-
teal edged pages.
The pictures show their telescoping masts with what appear to be
open grid UHF, SHF or microwave dishes on them. Sure would
seem that a 50 footer only extended to 40 feet, and properly guyed,
would handle something useful! ;-)
Sure would know what they are rated for so that I may detemine
how they may be safely used for limited Ham application.
They musy be able to handle a three element 2m quad, or a 2/440
base vertical with gain, or be the main element in a gamma-loaded
vertical or a vertical array ... such as a four-square?
- Thanks! & 73, DavidC K1YP
