I use LMR 400UF on my 75 ft. Aluma tower and let it slide thru homemade
stand offs. No problems after 4 yrs and I put it up and down on a weekly
basis.

Hi George,
I use LMR-400 on my 55 foot TX-455, with no problems. I rarely crank it
down, however, but when I do, it just slips through the coax standoffs when
I lower it. I've had no difficulties at all.
