I bought a harness setup from www.tessco.com. The fall arrest connects to
the back D-Ring and splits into two 6 foot shock absorbing lanyards and
positioning on the front >>>>

"Flex-NoPac Twin Leg Shock Absorbing Lanyard. 1-1/2" elasticized webbing,
3/4" throat opening Centurion auto-lock snap hook on label end and 2" throat
opening auto-twist aluminum carabiner on each leg.
6 Ft. in Length"

This can give 100% safety when climbing or repositioning. After I get
started up or down the tower I always keep a side connected to the tower -
via the leg not the cross member. This is $244.00 for just the lanyard.
Yes - expensive but gives piece of mind for me, my wife and 4 children. I
shake my head when I see pictures of so many that spend $10s of thousands on
rigs, amps and antennas and then are connected to the tower with a cheap
leather belt. I think the last picture was on the cover of CQ at the D4B
station.

Be safe,

Jay - KT5E
