I use a 'cheap' method to mark control,coax, etc. cables.
Using MS Word or just plain DOS Edit, I prepare a label
for the cable. Label size, color, framing etc very flexible
in Word. Make lotsa' them, cut and apply with good
Scotch Magic Tape...several layers....good for many years.
A second method, use a Brothers PT Touch Labeler.
Tape cost is reasonable, available in matte, clear etc.
Several font sizes selectable. Makes a professional
looking job.You can also 'pretty -it-up' by 'framing'
the name.
