| Subject: | [Towertalk] Topped trees dying? |

Some of the fir trees on my folk's place were topped in the early = fifties. I climbed them to install antennas at about the 80 foot level = in the mid fifties. These were all wire antennas. Climbing sans ladder, = just limbs. These trees today, fifty some years later, are very healthy and unless = one knew they had been topped some time ago and at what height, it would = be very difficult to detect.
