I have two runs of 1/2-inch Heliax, 2 runs of RG-8, 2 runs of RG-58x, and
a rotor control cable, all pulled at the same time through 120 feet of
4-inch corrugated PVC from my tower to the house. All pulled at the
same time. There aren't any sharp curves in the PVC, so the pull was
fairly easy. Two of us did it in about 30 minutes last fall. One pulling,
the other keeping everything together and pushing. Not bad at all.
Good luck!
73, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

Subject: [TowerTalk] Heliax and PVC
Good Morning and Merry Christmas to all the brave souls defying their XYLs
to answer this request.
I have installed 105 feet of 4 inch PVC from my shack to the tower. My
question has to do with running Andrews ½ inch Heliax through the conduit.
How flexible or inflexible is the Heliax? I have no experience in Heliax
and trying to make a decision whether to use it or LMR-400.
Dwight
