When I tune any wire antenna, I make it a bit long to start with, say 12 inches to long and when I tune it, I do not cut the wire shorter, I just fold it back upon itself on the end and twist it together.That way if needed in the future, I can untwist the ends and start over with a known length. besides I like to have a lot of mass at the ends of my wire antennas. _______________________________________________ _______________________________________________ TowerTalk mailing list TowerTalk@contesting.com http://lists.contesting.com/mailman/listinfo/towertalk |
