Link to tubing pricing and some specifications. It appears that a five foot
length of 2" diameter, 0.060 " wall tubing will weigh 1.25 pounds and cost
only $220. I have not calculated just what a 0.060 wall tube can stand up to
in square feet of antenna at 70 mph [antenna at the 5 foot point]. Maybe
Roger can do that so we have some confidence in the reported result.
