Rob, If you contemplate the need to stand on top of the tower, you certainly want to go with the flat AG4. You'll need a thrust bearing with the AG4 while it's not necessary with the AG2. Something I like about the flat tops is the ability to use several turns of coax laying on the flat top and wrapped around the mast to provide slack for rotating the antenna.
